Hanwell station closed on Sunday 1 November: Elizabeth line trains won't stop

If you usually catch the Elizabeth line from Hanwell, plan another way on Sunday. TfL says Hanwell, West Ealing and Acton Main Line stations are closed on Sunday 1 November.

A reduced service runs between Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 4 / Maidenhead. According to TfL, six trains an hour serve Ealing Broadway, Southall and Hayes & Harlington, four an hour serve Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3, and two an hour serve Heathrow Terminal 4, West Drayton, Langley, Slough, Burnham and Maidenhead.

TfL lists the change from 04:30 on Sunday 1 November until 01:29 on Monday 2 November. The nearest open stations for Hanwell residents are Ealing Broadway to the east and Southall to the west.

The Piccadilly line won't help this weekend either: TfL says there is no service on the entire Piccadilly line from 01:00 on Saturday 31 October and all day Sunday 1 November, so Boston Manor and Northfields are also without trains.

When we checked, local buses including the E3, E8, 83, 92, 195, 207 and 297 showed good service. The E11 is still on its long-running diversion towards Greenford for Thames Water works on Drayton Green Road.

Check TfL's live status before you set off, as Elizabeth line delays can change during the day.
